The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine is institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for freestanding institutions and colleges of acupuncture or Integrative medicine that offer such programs. The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine is certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), allowing us to enroll international students on F-1 visas. This certification means that VUIM meets the necessary standards to support international students throughout their education, including visa documentation through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS)


If you’re applying from abroad, this accreditation ensures that you can legally study in the U.S. while benefiting from our high-quality acupuncture and herbal medicine programs.
