As an older adult in my 30's, I felt that western medicine school was a little bit too late to just go in. And I found VUIM and Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine very accessible. I felt that I could be impacting people in a way that western medicine can't. Working alongside the staff, faculty, and supervisors has been an absolute joy.

I've always wanted to study Acupuncture, it's a calling based on my own life experience. VUIM is a place where you can really grow. They've built a community that is solid where you can expand your knowledge of medicine, but you have to be responsible yourself to realize the full potential.
