The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM), renowned for its growth and leadership in the field of Acupuncture education in the United States, has announced an exciting and groundbreaking partnership with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM), one of the foremost authorities in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) education in Mainland China.


Formalized by a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding, the new collaboration underscores a mutual commitment to amplify the academic and scientific tenets of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States and abroad. The union of the two institutions is a beacon of progress, promising enhancements in education and research related to Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, focusing on the rich traditions of TCM.


Key Focus Areas of the Partnership

Joint Academic Programs: VUIM and SHUTCM are set to develop joint academic programs that bridge the gap between Eastern and Western approaches to medicine.
