VUIM’s Doctor of Acupuncture and Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Programs are Accredited
Fairfax, VA: As of March 10th, 2021, VUIM has achieved accreditation status for its Doctor of Acupuncture (DAc.) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAcHM) programs with its accreditor – ACAOM, the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
At this time, all VUIM programs are accredited by ACAOM, which also serves as the University’s Institutional Accreditor. Over the next few weeks, the university will be filing requisite documentation with the US Department of Education to allow students to apply for and use Federal Financial aid and Veterans Benefits in their pursuit of these newly accredited programs.
