Byung Kim
Byung joined VUIM in June of 2008, with more than 10 years of experience in post-secondary higher education marketing, admissions, student affairs, he has been serving in various roles at the university.
During this period, Byung led the marketing initiatives of the school’s postgraduate educational program as well as its clinic-based service business. Initially focused on programmatic growth measures meant to produce year over year increase in student enrollment. Efforts resulted in a 300% increase in a student enrollment over the initial 2 year duration of the program’s proactive marketing campaign.
In 2014, Byung spearheaded establishing partnerships with the leading Oriental Medicine and Integrative Health programs in Asia, Kyung Hee University of Oriental Medicine, KHU Hospital, Busan Graduate School of Oriental Medicine, Hong Kong University School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This year, he plans to contribute to establishment of meaningful partnerships with many institutes and organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area.
Byung holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
