VUIM CLINIC REOPENING – AUGUST 3RD, 2020
Dear Patients of VUIM:
The Virginia University of Integrative Medicine is excited to announce that our Clinic will be reopening on Monday, August 3rd, 2020.
We understand that the past few months have been difficult for each and every member of our patient community. Those of us on staff can say we have experienced the same as we managed to navigate the challenges of this global pandemic that have brought about a new normal. With new forms of pain and stress stemming from working at home along with the unmitigated gloom repackaged and redistributed by the media, we’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to serve each and every one of you once again – to offer our own form of reprieve to you, our clients. Now that such a day finally approaches, we couldn’t be happier to re-open our doors to offer the holistic support we know you’ve been missing.
Your health and safety have always been our top priority and we plan to provide you with an experience founded upon a detailed, rigorous, and thoughtful approach to cleaning and sanitation that will ensure your safety and protection are prioritized while continuing to offer the best experience of care you have come to know from our providers. Through this link, and the file attached, you may review our new standards and procedures we will be implementing as we reopen to the public.
If you would like to schedule your appointment, you can contact us at 703-323-5691 or email us at [email protected].
We look forward to having you back in our clinic and under our care.

MARCH 17, 2020: VUIM CLINIC UPDATE
Dear Patients of the VUIM Private Clinic,
The VUIM Clinic has made the difficult decision to temporarily close its operations in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. In light of the social distancing guidelines promoted by government / public health organizations, we are choosing to close the VUIM Clinic over the next two weeks and reopen on April 6th, 2020. While we remain optimistic that the crisis will pass soon, the date we set is tentative and subject to change based on the fluidity of the situation at hand.
Ultimately, we chose to take this precautionary approach to close our clinic in an effort to avoid contributing to disease transmission in our community. We do understand and acknowledge that missing treatments for several weeks will create a disruption to our patients’ lives. However, we believe taking such an action will contribute to combatting the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
Our Clinic staff spent time today contacting most of you to reschedule your existing appointments for a future date. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact our Clinic via phone or email:
During our temporary, two-week closure, we will work on responding to your requests within 24 hours.
